NokNok collects only what is needed to run the wallet, recovery, notification, and support features. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information for advertising.

NokNok may process your username, wallet address, encrypted wallet vault, encrypted witness recovery data, device push token, notification state, transaction summaries, witness invitations, approximate device location when you use nearby merchant menus or duress alerts, and support messages you choose to send.
Your private key, passphrase, and duress code are not collected in plain text. Wallet secrets are encrypted before storage or transmission.
We use this information to create and verify accounts, show balances and history, send requested notifications, support witness recovery, process wallet actions, find nearby merchant menus when you open Shop, and respond to support requests.
Nearby-menu location checks are used to find matching merchant menus and are not stored by NokNok for that purpose.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, analytics networks, or unrelated third parties.
Limited service providers may process data only when necessary to operate NokNok, such as push notification delivery or email delivery. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Some wallet data is stored locally on your device. Some encrypted account and recovery data may be stored on-chain or by the NokNok relay so your wallet can be restored. Blockchain transactions are public by design.
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the wallet features or comply with required operational obligations. You can delete your account from the app where supported, which removes NokNok-managed account records. Public blockchain records cannot be deleted.
